About Overcrank

Overcrank is built for people who shoot a lot: filmmakers, editors, DITs and content creators who come home with full cards and a deadline. It does the unglamorous part of the job, so the creative part starts sooner.

What it does

• Drivetrain copies cards and drives to another location and checks every file arrived intact.
• Cruise Control keeps folders in sync on a schedule, copying only what changed.
• Readout tells you exactly what a clip is: codec, resolution, frame rate, audio.
• Crankshaft organizes a folder from a plain-English instruction, shows you the result first, and lets you undo it.
• Cranky remembers how you like things filed and finds clips by what they are.

What we care about

• Your footage stays yours. Files are copied, checked and organized on your Mac. We never upload your media.
• Nothing happens by surprise. Changes are previewed before they’re applied, and every move or rename can be undone.
• Proof, not hope. A copy isn’t done until every file has been checked.
• Fair pricing. The transfer tools are free with no time limit. You pay for AI only if you use it, or bring your own key.
