Set up

1. In the app, Profile → Notifications.
2. Add the email and/or phone number you want alerts on and verify each (a code is sent).
3. Choose which events you want: transfer complete, transfer error, sync started / finished / failed, export ready.

Email alerts are free. SMS costs 2 credits each (shown next to the toggle). Texts only go to a verified number.

When you’ll hear from it

• Drivetrain: a long transfer finished (with the verification result) or stopped on an error.
• Cruise Control: a sync started, finished, or failed (for example, the source drive was disconnected).
• Exports / processing: when something you kicked off is done.

Each event is sent once, even if the app retries.

Turning it off

Switch off a channel or an event type any time in Profile. Removing your phone number stops SMS immediately.
